Do I need a referral?

Yes a referral is required.

You are most welcome to book an appointment with Dr Genge before obtaining the referral, however we do require a referral for legal reasons.

A referral can be obtained from either an Optometrist or GP.  They are valid for 12 months after the date of your appointment with Dr Genge.

Where should I park when I come to Freedom eye Laser?

Parking is available on level P2 of the Dee Why Grand Shopping Centre Car Park.

Entry to the carpark is via Sturdee Parade or Pacific Parade, Dee Why.

Parking on P2 is important as this will allow you access to the commercial building rather than the retail building.

If you take the elevator located on the back left wall of the car park up to level 2, you will find us straight ahead at the end of the hallway.

How do I get to you via public transport?

Freedom Eye Laser is located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

There is no train line access to this area so buses are the quickest and easiest way here. With the introduction of the B Line, the trip from the Queen Victoria Building to Dee Why is around 50 minutes.

The main Dee Why Bus Stop is located 1 block down from our building.

Is Freedom Eye Laser easily accessible for disabled patients?

There is elevator access from either the street level on ground or from the carpark on level P2.

Our practice is located on Level 2 of the Dee Why Grand Commercial Building.

Is Freedom Eye Laser and Northern Beaches Eye Surgery connected?

Yes, we certainly are.

Northern Beaches Eye Surgery was established in 2010 to provide the highest level of ophthalmic care to people in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. The core of our business has always been the importance of safety, personalised care and the most advanced technology.

People have shared their stories and the common theme has always been ‘freedom’. Freedom from contact lenses and glasses but more importantly, freedom to get on and enjoy their lives without restraint.

Freedom Eye Laser will now be the primary name of our business. We feel it reflects the dreams of our patients’ and conveys our purpose.

Our practice has two areas of focus.

Northern Beaches Eye Surgery provides the highest standard of care for general ophthalmology. Freedom Eye Laser is dedicated to freeing people from glasses and contact lenses.

While the businesses stand together and compliment each other, the websites have now been amalgamated.
