iStent

iStents are implants that reduce the intraocular pressure for people with Glaucoma.

An iStent is a 1mm titanium tube, the smallest implant used in human surgery.  By assisting the drainage of fluid inside the eye, it lowers the pressure and protects against the progression of Glaucoma.  The procedure is safe and only takes 5 minutes and is generally performed in conjunction with cataract surgery.
