James Genge studied medicine and then eye surgery out of a desire to care for people. With this goal, James pursued and achieved world-class training and vast experience at the highest level.
“The best part of my job is seeing how happy I make people by doing something I love. I get to meet such a broad spectrum of people and get great satisfaction in hearing how treatment improves their everyday lives.”
James is one of only a handful of Ophthalmic Surgeons with Fellowship training in Laser Vision Correction and Intra-Ocular Lens surgery. He obtained this higher qualification at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London – one of the most prestigious Eye Institutions in the World.
“What motivates me..”
James has progressed and developed his skills over a further decade. As an invited speaker at International Conferences, he stays at the forefront of technology and techniques.
“Why I became an eye surgeon”
James has a personal approach to medicine and connects with his patient by first gaining a thorough understanding of their hopes and goals. The results are then achieved by applying the best equipment, skill and experience.
